Artemis honed into the vibration of birth, and was known to appear at the side of all species to offer them, mugwort and encourage delivery. Hence, her “apothecary” became known as Artemisia. The Greeks believed that there was no place on earth, where Artemis had not danced. She was very popular and worshiped widely until the introduction of Christianity, whose patriarchy ultimately concluded she was the Virgin Mary, and proceeded to destroy all of her temples.
